Volunteering at PRNC
From the beginnings of the Pine Rivers Neighbourhood Centre in
1988, volunteer staff have worked to provide important services to the
local community.
Volunteers continue to work and develop the Neighbourhood Centre as a
relevant community resource.
Volunteers are representatives of the local community, and as
such ensure:
- The Centre services accurately reflect
community values
- The Centre is responsive to local community
needs and issues
- The training provided to volunteers ensures
that human resources and skills remain in the local area
- The work enhances opportunities for everyone
in their own community
Volunteering Opportunities
There are many volunteering opportunities available at the
Centre, including:
- Reception support
- Administration support
- Legal support

- Seasons program worker
- Family support visitor
